Beervana Bangkok

Craft Beer $$

Beervana on Sukhumvit Soi 26 is the city's most serious bottle-and-can craft beer shop with a small bar attached. Over 400 imports, properly cold, with the staff knowledge to guide an unfamiliar drinker through the inventory.

The format is shop-with-bar: the front room is a beer retailer (cans and bottles, fridge-cold, sold for take-away or to drink on-site at THB 50 corkage). The back room is a small ten-seat bar with six taps and a counter where the staff will open and pour your selection. The fridge inventory rotates monthly; the staff post arrivals on Instagram.

The strongest format is the Beervana Flight: pick four cans or bottles from the fridge with the staff's help, sit at the counter, and work through them with informed conversation. The price varies by selection (THB 600-1200 per flight) but the value is excellent for the inventory level. The Belgian sour selection is the deepest in the city — Cantillon, Drie Fonteinen, Tilquin, all bottle-dated.

Beervana is not a destination for a casual pint. It is the right call when you want to drink unusual beers carefully with people who know what they are pouring. Two hours, one flight, one extra bottle to take home. The crowd is regulars and Asia-craft-beer tourists who have planned their Bangkok trip around this stop.

Best time to visit: Weekday evenings before 9pm for a quieter version of the room; weekends after 9pm for the busier one. Reservations recommended where the bar accepts them.
