1885 · Truffles Il Procacci is the Antinori-owned wine and truffle bar on Via de' Tornabuoni, open since 1885 and the only place in the world where you can drink a Tignanello by the glass while eating a truffle panino smaller than a fingernail. The list is narrow by design — primarily Antinori-family bottlings (Tignanello, Solaia, Guado al Tasso, the Bolgheri estates) — but pours them at producer-direct prices a serious Tuscan list anywhere else would not match.
The room is white-tiled and marble-counter, the staff have all been there for decades, and the experience is unrepeatable elsewhere. Ranks eighth because the format is single-producer and limits breadth, but the demonstration of vertical-integration drinking is unique.
