Bunny Jackson's

Live Music $$

It is walk in. Grab a booth, order a drink, and the 20p wings menu comes to your table.

Bunny Jackson's is the First Street dive that built its name on 20p chicken wings and a wall of cheap beer. The booths, the pool table, the darts, and a stage that runs live music most nights set the tone. DesignMyNight calls the 20p wings one of the best cheap eats in the city.

This is a loud, scruffy, fun room, and that is the point. If you want wings, a cold beer, and a band, you will love it. If you want a quiet date or a refined cocktail, this is firmly the wrong door.

Booths, neon, license plates, and a stage packed into a dive bar layout built for noise. Staff bring the wings menu to your table once you have a drink in hand. Creative Tourist describes the energy as full tilt Americana, busiest when a band is on.

Keep it cheap and cold. The beer list is built for value, the frozen drinks go down fast in summer, and bourbon is the spirit of the house. Pair whatever you drink with a round of the 20p wings, which come in sauces from mellow barbecue to blazing hot, the order regulars swear by.

A student and young Manchester crowd early, turning into a full weekend party once the live music starts. Open until 3am every night, so it pulls a late set. Bandaoke and live bands anchor the weekend.
