Mamucium

Cocktail Bars $$$

Book a table for dinner. The bar takes walk ins for a cocktail when there is space.

Mamucium is the bar and restaurant inside Hotel Indigo Manchester Victoria Station, at 6 Todd Street, directly across from the station and on the edge of the Northern Quarter. The kitchen leans Mediterranean, drawing on Spain, Italy, and Greece, with small plates built to share and a cocktail list to open the night. The name nods to the Roman fort that gave Manchester its start.

This is a polished hotel bar that works as a pre arena or pre train stop, not a late night party room. If you want cocktails and sharing plates in a calm, central spot, it fits. If you want a loud crowd and a dance floor, the Northern Quarter is two minutes away.

A relaxed ground floor space inside the hotel, with the bar and dining room sharing a warm, modern fit out. Its location opposite Victoria makes it an easy meeting point before a show at the AO Arena. The seats near the bar are the spot for a cocktail before a table.

The cocktail list is the reason to stop at the bar, and the wine list follows the Mediterranean menu. Order a cocktail to start, then move to sharing plates of grilled meats and seafood. The kitchen builds around locally sourced ingredients, so ask what is on that week.

A mix of hotel guests, pre arena crowds, and locals meeting near the station. Busiest early evening before events at the AO Arena. Calmer late and on quieter weeknights.
