Adega Sports Bar

Sports Bar Sports Bars $$

Adega Sports Bar runs the most complete sports operation in central Porto: a long, deep room on Rua de José Falcão with screens down both walls, booth seating, jerseys on the plaster, and a games floor upstairs with pool, darts, and beer pong. LiberoGuide's football bar survey called it the first and best of its kind in the city. A big Super Bock on tap costs EUR 4.

The comparison that matters is Guindalense, the football club terrace by the Fontainhas with the river view and the FC Porto soul. Guindalense wins on romance. Adega wins every other category: kickoff coverage, seats, food, and a 2am license. Aggregate review data holds it around 4.4 across more than 3,500 reviews.

It also pours port wine, which LiberoGuide suspects makes it the only sports bar in the world that does. Order a glass at halftime and feel briefly civilized.

The room runs long and deep with TVs in every sightline, so there is no bad seat, only late ones. LiberoGuide notes the staff work to make international visitors feel at home, and the reviews back the claim.

The crowd mixes FC Porto locals with traveling fans hunting their own league's kickoff. Weekend afternoons open at 2pm for the early slate; the close is officially 2am, with some listings claiming 3am on weekends. Call ahead if your night depends on the extra hour.

Do not confuse it with the newer Foz branch by the sea. This is the original, and the address that earns the lists.
