Malone's Taphouse

Sports Bar Sports Bars $$

Malone's opened in 1998 at 608 West Pender Street and never moved. The Cambie Malones Group runs it now as a 240 seat taphouse split into a restaurant side and a pub side around a central bar.

The numbers tell you what it is: 38 craft taps, roughly 20 screens, two blocks from Granville station.

Downtown has flashier sports bars. None of them pour a BC craft list this deep, a point CAMRA Vancouver's listing makes plainly.

Two rooms, one central run of taps. The pub side takes the noise on game nights; the restaurant side stays bookable.

UFC cards, themed trivia nights, and music bingo fill the calendar between fixtures, per the events page at malones.bc.ca.

Weekday after work tables arrive from the financial district at 5pm and clear by 8pm.

Walk in for anything under ten people; email reservations@malones.bc.ca beyond that. Hoppy Hour pricing lands daily.

Granville station is two blocks east. On Canucks and UFC nights, treat seats as gone 30 minutes before start.
