Parker Rooftop

Rooftop Bar Rooftop Bars $$$

Nine floors above the Beach District, with fire pits, a Japanese leaning kitchen, and the best Tripadvisor numbers of any patio in the city.

Parker Rooftop sits on the ninth floor of the Parker Hotel at 1379 Howe Street, 120 feet above Vancouver's Beach District. Tripadvisor diners rate it 4.9 and rank it third among more than 2,500 restaurants in the city, which is a startling number for a patio in a town this rain soaked.

You come here for golden hour, fire pits, and a polished Japanese leaning menu. If your night is jeans and cheap pints, the room will feel dressed up around you, and the bill will confirm it.

The terrace wraps the ninth floor with fire pits and open sky, and The Rooftop Guide lists it among the best rooftop bars in Vancouver. On clear evenings the view runs across False Creek to the North Shore mountains.

Blankets and the fire pits keep the shoulder seasons workable. Inside seats exist, but you are here for the rail.

The room closes Monday and Tuesday. Doors open at 3pm Wednesday through Friday and at noon on weekends, and the sunset reservations disappear first all summer.

Expect a dressed up crowd, birthdays, and date nights. Book a week out for a Friday rail seat and you will not regret the planning.
