The Local Pub opened in suburban Halandri in 2010, a homely dive-bar that helped start Athens' craft scene. Barley Cargo on Kolokotroni is the deepest craft beer list in Athens, opened in 2012 by Marios Mantzoukis and Nectarios Kefalas with more than 500 bottles and over 20 taps.
