It reads more polished and visitor-facing than the Gothic Quarter peñas, but the dancing is the real article. Best for a first flamenco night with a meal built in. Take the later show for stronger energy on the floor.
Palau Dalmases sets flamenco inside a candlelit baroque courtyard in El Born, all stone and faded grandeur. Shows run nightly and last about 75 minutes, ticket including one drink. The setting carries as much of the night as the performance, which suits the intimate single-guitar format. Best for atmosphere and a date that wants something old-world.
