São Paulo sprawls, and so does its rooftop scene, but most of the famous names are hotel bars or one-off views. After cutting the listings that could not be confirmed as open public rooftops, three stand up: two hotel landmarks and a museum terrace. Here they are.

The kitchen is formal and the cocktails are priced for the address. It leans tourist and special-occasion over local-cool. Best for a first-timer's panorama. Come for a drink at dusk rather than a full dinner.
On the roof of the MAC USP building beside Ibirapuera Park, Vista pairs a contemporary kitchen with a terrace looking over the park and Oscar Niemeyer's marquee. It is calmer and more design-led than the hotel rooftops, and the daytime view rivals the evening one. Best paired with the museum and the park. Book the terrace, not the indoor room.
