Red2One sits on the 21st floor of the W Santiago at Isidora Goyenechea 3000, five minutes from El Golf metro. The hotel arrived in 2009; the rooftop has anchored the El Golf skyline scene since.
The format splits in two: a glass walled indoor bar with leather couches, then stairs down to an open air poolside terrace with 360 degree views of the Andes and the Sanhattan towers.
The Rooftop Guide calls it about as chic and elegant as Santiago gets. The prices agree.
By day the terrace belongs to hotel guests. From 6pm it opens to the public, and the sunset hour is the reason to come.
